Sorry for the wait but I have been super tired . Anyway, surgery went well on April 3 . They feel they got all the cancer but still waiting for pathology report.
Of course if there was a complication to get I would get it. Wound infection, healing now but still on triple antibiotics and packing it and a hit to the kidneys which is also on the mend.
I had some fun dreams post anesthetic. My sister sold her business and we had all been saying how proud and excited Dad would have been for her. I saw my Dad, he still wouldn’t let me in to “heavens waiting room“ but he gave me the 2 thumbs up and said ‘bubba Louie’ which was a nick name he had for my sister when she was a little girl .
The other dream I was at our dearly departed Queen Elizabeth’s lingerie sale where I purchased a pair of Granny panties that were hung on and royal blue velvet hanger with little Yorke dog pins. Not sure what I would do with them likely put them in a shadow box and use the as a conversation piece !
Anyway I am in the mend still having a lot of nausea and vomiting but am hopeful the worst is behind me.
Thank you all for your wishes, prayers, visits, flowers and cards. It means a lot to still be remembered after almost 8 months in hospital
Must have been great drugs for you to have those dreams…lol. You are amazingly strong given everything you have gone through and every complication you have encountered. Hope you feel better soon❤

You sure took the scenic route, but it sounds like you are finally on the way to your happy ending.
I really admired QEII and liked to say we should all be more like her. The lingerie, however, was not what I had in mind.
