Yeah chemo !

Yeah ?? I get to start chemo therapy today 
Now there’s a sentence I never thought I would say . I saw my oncology team yesterday and they deemed me well enough to get started. So today is the day phase 2 of the battle begins . I will be on 3 intravenous drugs 2 will be given at the Cross and the 3’rd will be started at the Cross then run at home through a pump in my chest over the following 2 days . Then I return to:the Cross after 2 weeks to check out my blood counts and start again . Plan is to do this 8 or 9 times so about 4-5 months . I have to arrive at my appointment with anti nausea and steroids on board sounds like fun ! Thanks again everyone for your warm wishes,cards, flowers and meals . My family and I really appreciate you all Take care ,I may not feel up to posting for a few days but know I am busy fighting !
