Too sick for chemo they told me last Tuesday . I was booked for my first chemo for last Wednesday . It had already been delayed by 2 weeks due to having Covid now delayed due to diarrhea a side effect caused from pelvic radiation .
Hoping to get the go ahead for chemo instead I got another litter of IV fluid and new medication directions to stop the diarrhea. They told me if I can’t get started soon I will fall out of the window for this new treatment protocol I am on and May have to have my surgery first then chemo which is not ideal .
So, as of today Sunday May 1 the diarrhea has settled somewhat and we will see this Tuesday if I can go ahead with chemo this Wednesday .
On the positive side I feel very blessed to have Emily home . She has been really helpful and the kids are excited to have her here as well.
Stay well everyone and thanks for all your support
